Creative use of minimal props, sound, lighting and space (1 square metre). The performer's acrobatic and martial arts skills were incredible. Show was more abstract than I had expected.

Patrick is a phenomenal storyteller, performer, and writer. Colossal was our favourite show from last year, and The Way Way Deep was a brilliant follow up that will hard to best. Clever writing, brilliant delivery, fantastic lighting/sound work, and just the right amount of ambiguity in the storytelling. Absolutely loved it.

Here's hoping Dr Carlos watched this show, happily married and full of samosas.
