The Boomer and the Doomer
Half of the Fringe World shows I watch are excellent. The other half, unfortunately, would be good if they were only 45 minutes long, but they become tedious for an hour-long show. “The Doomer and the Boomer” falls into this second category. It had some amusing moments, and I had some laughs. I appreciate the cheaper-than-average ticket price. I wish the reacts had a category of “So-So” or “Meh.”

AWOL: 2 Old Men Escape From A Care Home & Go To A Metal Festival
I laughed so hard I was wheezing and needed to put my head between my legs to collect myself at several points during thw show. I am honoured that I got to attend this show when one of the performer's mum's bookclub was in the audience. Anyway, thank you to everyone who brought this show to Perth because it meant the world to me. I am not a senior citizen and would hesitate to call myself a metal head but watching AWOL may just have made me aspire to grow into becoming both demographics.

An Ordinary Woman
A really great show, Andrea Thompson takes you on A journey to becoming her true self. It Is happy, sad and a riveting story to hear. Trans peoples stories are so important hear, particularly for people who fear or do not understand why being your true self in our short life Is so important. Andrea Thompson is backed up by Cecilia who provides energetic and passionate songs between stories. This was a great way to break up the show and gives it a nice flow and structure.
