Grassroots Comedy proudly presents BLOKE, a night with iconic Aussie comedian Chris Franklin. Known for his ARIA-nominated hit parody song, Bloke, Chris embodies the quintessential Aussie with his flanno shirts, double pluggers, and sharp wit. A veteran of almost 30 years on stage, his fish-out-of-water humour has earned him the endearing and beloved title of the Bogan king of comedy. From homelessness, to cooking for the queen, to a bout of scurvy, to multiple televised appearances, performing with legends like Carl Barron and Dave Hughes, to entertaining troops overseas, Chris continues to be one of the most respected performers as one of the O.G's of Australian comedy.
