Pure class. Glorious and flawless, The Swing Sisters and the Boogie Woogie Bugle Band deliver a five-star show. Polished, upbeat, sophisticated, and lively, this show is energetic and sheer delight to the ears and the eyes. Totally enjoyable, it was a pleasure to experience and I would highly recommend you treat someone special try and get tickets as it’s an extremely limited run.

The Swing Sisters are a merry trio of elegant, radiant and seasoned entertainers, who sing close harmony vocal music in the style of the Andrews Sisters and Puppini Sisters. Their voices are bright and upbeat and each compliments the other and even perform a stunning acapella. They’ve got the looks and the moves of the period and are impeccable performers. They embody exactly what the governments of the forties needed to lift the spirits of the troops to win the war.

The Boogie Woogie Bugle Band are a polished 6-piece band comprising of piano, drums, bass, and three on brass. Each musician faultless; they are a tight fun band. Visually the vintage style costumes and styling transports you to the big sets of the 1940s and era of iconic entertainers - it is a joy to experience.

The show kicked off buoyantly with In the Mood, Tico, Tico, Don’t Sit under the Apple Tree, and Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, with the Swing Sisters immaculately dressed, perfectly choreographed and having a great deal of fun on stage. I enjoyed the historical anecdotes about the music and the times, then there was a slight change of pace for the hypnotic calypso style Rum and Cola, complete with flower garlands.

A quick costume change into long sequinned gowns and boas, and the Swing Sisters delivered a punchy Crazy in Love in the style of the Puppini sisters. I will Survive was stunning and maddeningly I still have it stuck in my head! The grand finale was a very lively Accentuate the Positive, leaving the audience on an absolute high.
