Leave your troubles at the door and walk back out with a huge smile and veins coursing with endorphins having watched this sensational mix of musical theatre, cabaret and burlesque.
Led by the supremely talented Kiara Macri, sisters Nicola Macri as side-splitting MC and burlesque marvel Veruca Sour, with Lucy Lovegun, Polly St. Pearl and Rita Hayworth - sorry, Aleisha Archer - the show takes you through classic numbers from movie musicals, beginning with a steamy take of 'All That Jazz' in slinky fishnets.
Like a cabaret and burlesque should, the song and dance is interspersed with comedy acts such as Nicola and Lucy Lovegun's delightful take on Laurel and Hardy. Indeed, one of the delights of the show is how each of the stars (yes, they are) get to showcase multiple talents and their personalities shine through. Kiara herself, is the lead, singing, dancing, acting and comedy (is quadruple threat a thing?).
Other highlight was the delirious take on "Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend' segueing neatly into 'Material Girl' and then a later remix, led by Polly St. Pearl and a lovely tap dance by Aleisha Archer. Even Nicola gets in on the moves with a hilarious comedy/dance routine involving as she says: 'the very girly drink" - whiskey. It was like routine from the Marx Brothers.
If you love cabaret, burlesque, comedy, slinky dances and songs from movies far back and more recent, you cannot go wrong by ponying up to see this 50 minute marvel of joy.
