Lisa Woodbrook had the audience in an uproar of laughs from the moment she stood on the stage. Her clear natural ability to entertain and resonate with every kind of person shone through in her witty remarks and often embarrassing truths. Matched with her captivating, remarkable voice, audience members were left entranced - particularly during her rendition of "Back To Black". 

Her sidekick on the keyboard, Joshua, was an absolute necessity for making the show what it was. Their chemistry and banter amplified the humor and gave a chaotic energy that the crowd adored. 

Woodbrook's honesty and ability to laugh at herself gave the audience permission to, too. Her stories about her Italian family (and her accent!) were a crowd-pleaser, and something that everyone could find themselves in - regardless of if they were Italian or not. 

Age is not an issue for this show, either. There were people of all ages, genders, sexes and races in the audience, enjoying the show just as much as the person next to them. Woodbrook's charisma and natural-gift of storytelling broke barriers and brought people together for a night of cheering, laughing, and an escape from the outside world for a while. 

When the show ended, I really couldn't believe 55 minutes had passed already. I was utterly enthralled in Woodbrook's beautiful voice and comedic nature. Each song grew a new meaning and the context she gave before them was hysterical. 

There was never a dull moment - nor a moment when somebody wasn't clapping, laughing, cheering or snapping. Woodbrook brought a high energy show full of feel good, relatable anecdotes that seemlessly wove between your favourite hits from Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen.
