Review by Fiona Elizabeth Johnson | 24 January 2025

Vinyl Nostalgia UK comedian DAN LEES’ first gig at Fringe is a frenzy of crazy characters and songs created by LEES and YOU, and drawn from dusty vinyl covers found in the UK and our very own Victoria Park. These are the pop musicians and artists YOU never knew YOU knew.

The artists that changed their hands, answered yes please to mustard and custard, and threw wild abandon to crazy hairdos, outfits, and hip rolling poses. LEES in his trademark yellow suit cleverly brings these characters to life, and with YOU sings their greatest hits and those from their upcoming albums.

This is a fun, highly interactive event that will have YOU toe tapping, clapping, and cheering for more as the forgotten greats of music past take once again to the stage. The trick to this event of course is to have a crowd who is as imaginative and fun as LEES and who enjoy taking op shopping to the next level.
