Hidden treasures were about to be unveiled as the crowd eagerly gathered, in the James Street Mall. With waivers signed and headsets snugly fitted, the scene was set for an illuminating adventure led by none other than the charismatic Famous Sharon. Once we were all ready she emerged in all her splendour, exuding fabulousness, and ready to kick things off on the first of this tour.

Before delving into the secrets of Perth City, Famous Sharon began with a genuine acknowledgment of the Wadjuk land, setting a tone of respect and appreciation. And so, the journey commenced on a perfect night, the city streets lit up and the crowds enjoying the lively atmosphere.

Being a local, I thought I knew the ins and outs of Perth City, but Famous Sharon proved me wrong. She shared gossip and tales that were not only new but also highly informative and amusing. What set this experience apart was the seamless interweaving of recent history with indigenous narratives, creating a rich tapestry of stories that would appeal to everyone.

As we strolled through the streets, everyone had the chance to participate in the storytelling, making the experience interactive and engaging. We were also entertained by great music pumping through our headsets getting us grooving along the way.

The walking part of the tour lasted for approximately an hour, making comfortable shoes a necessity for the journey. Despite me being a local gal, Famous Sharon managed to unveil hidden gems and tales that were new to me and to many of the others in the group. It was an adventure through the heart of Perth City, uncovering treasures that added a new layer of appreciation for the city's vibrant history and culture.
