I lost my voice from cheering so loud!
Tash York is a brilliant performer and she really does have the audience completely captivated from the moment she steps on stage in all of her shows. Fringe as F**k is no different!
The audience was in stitches as three willing (and not-so-willing) audience members became her backup dancers. That was the start of an improv show that was great fun to watch and certainly looked and felt like it was great fun to perform as well.
Tash ran the show as three Fringe Festival performers had their acts meddled with and then the improv battle was on.
It was relaxed, it was funny, and it was definitely improv.
It was all the things Fringe Festival is about!
The really devastating thing was the reduced visibility. Rechabite is a brilliant venue but without tiered seating in the basement, most of the audience couldn’t see the acts.
Do yourself a favour and get tickets to the last show, but get there early and get front-row seats or at the very least aisle seats (or stand at the back!) This isn’t a show where you want to miss a thing!
