Very entertaining. Couldn't stop laughing and the cast were very quick on their feet.

Somewhere over the rainbow is the Wizard of Aus.

If you are looking for a faithful recreation of The Wizard of Oz this is not the show for you. If you are looking for an hour of lighthearted fun and laughter packed with WA references then check this out.

Colourful language punctuates this amateur dramatics production with plenty of twists so, while minors can attend with a parent or guardian, maybe leave the kids at home if you think bad language may offend.

If you love Panto you know that audience participation is actively encouraged, the cast went so far as to encourage heckling, what the audience may not have been expecting was for the cast to turn it around and heckle the audience right back and it definitely added to the laughter.

It was good fun to see iconic WA references woven through the narrative.

There is plenty of audience participation adding to making this show a good, wholesome fun evening and the review can’t be complete without a mention of the amazing Quokka who was our family's favourite character (and morph suit actor!).
