Hosted by your favourite neighbourhood drag queen, the enigmatic Alexas Armstrong had the crowd enraptured with her costumes, drag performance and her signature brand of bawdy humour. With contortion acts that will have you squirming, a stunning aerial pole performance from the one and only Faye MacFarlane and tantalising silks, acrobatics and Lyra numbers Circus After Dark: Nocturnal had the opening night crowd hoarse from cheering and our jaws on the floor.

A word of warning though; Circus After Dark: Nocturnal is not for the faint-hearted. With a trigger warning for blood (fake of course) Matthew Pope’s number depicting a vampire bat devouring its latest meal and then taking to the skies is a spectacular showcase of skill that is not to be missed, seriously.
