Walking into the performance theatre, all you see is a pile of rubbish and a large bin. A brilliantly simple set that allowed for such creative imagination not only from the crowd but the brilliant mind of comedian James Hancox.

From the first 10 minutes of the show, you know you are in for a treat of pure physical comedy mixed in with the absolute cleverness of James. His facial expressions will draw you in and keep any kid entertained with his hilarious interactions with his make-shift puppets. The way James can quickly switch from one character to the next is fantastic and such a fun performance to watch.

The utterly Rubbish adventure is an enjoyable and beautiful way to show how your everyday rubbish and recycling can be made into something entertaining to have fun with and expand your imagination. James's imagination is brilliant and is shown in such a way that anyone can follow along. James never missed a beat from one character to the next with hilarious sound effects and original, imaginative songs.

James's facial expressions are so fun and larger than life, all the kids in the audience were giggling away and partaking in the fun of the theatre. They were all able to follow along with the story, even the younger ones. Add in the soundtrack and physicality to his performance, James has created a brilliant show that will have everyone (including adults) giggling along.

Audience participation is a must and helps create an enjoyable and engaging environment for kids to partake and be a part of the show's journey. From questions at the beginning to even a few adult volunteers helping create fun rubbish creatures, be ready to partake in the whimsical rubbish adventure!

James's songs are so catchy, you and your kids will be singing his rubbish songs all the way to the car park.
